Spring In the Driftless! 'Build your own' Family Adventure Weekend

Spring in the Driftless Area is an adventure in itself, as the forests and River come alive with wildflowers and wildlife. The weekend of May 10-12 is full of opportunities to go do things as a family, including the Friends of Yellow River State Forest Trail Run/Walk (https://runsignup.com/Race/IA/HarpersFerry/FriendsofYellowRiverStateForestTrailRunWalk), Mississippi River boat tours by Maiden Voyage Cruises (Sponsored by Friends of Pool 9), a visit to the ACCB Driftless Center (https://www.allamakeecountyconservation.org/driftless-center), and so much more. You could spend a weekend exploring the 200 acreas of forest and 2+ miles of trails onsite here at Iowisota, but you'll probably want to venture out and enjoy some of the other amazing things this area has to offer.

This "event" is a two-night stay at Iowisota. Look at the accommodations tab on the website to see the spaces. There are 4 guest bedrooms and 2 guest bathrooms in the main house, plus 2 bedrooms and a bathroom in the cabin. Each booking for this weekend includes two bedrooms and your own dedicated bathroom, for Friday and Saturday nights, for $200 (plus lodging taxes). Saturday and Sunday breakfasts included. The "gathering room" and a full kitchen are common space for all guests (plus there is a kitchenette and small livingroom in the cabin). We only have three of these 2-room family suites available.  To reserve a space, fill out the RSVP form.  Then we will communicate via email to find out if you have any special requests/needs and to send you an invoice.
